Resume Revival: From No Interviews to Job Offer

Assisting a college grad with resume editing, leading to successful job acquisition.

Interview with: Patience B.

Why did you want to go into sales?

I wanted to go into sales because I am goal-oriented and passionate. I love building relationships with people and networking to grow connections in the business world.

What was your experience working with Sales Squad Foundation (SSF)?

I had a great experience working with the Sales Squad Foundation. Elizabeth Meadows provided me with timely, direct and effective tools to help me succeed in the job search process.

How did SSF help you? What were the results?

SSF helped me by editing my resume and giving me tips on which jobs I should be applying for. The results were that I was able to land an interview and a job offer shortly after!

What advice would you give to someone who was in your position?

My advice would be to have patience and to welcome feedback regarding the current ways you are applying/interviewing. Keep applying despite rejection and don’t be afraid of reaching out for help!

How would you like to see SSF help you in the future?

It would be great if SSF could continue to help me grow connections. Whether that is through networking events or just keeping in contact through LinkedIn.
